We’d like to introduce you to Intelligent Mechatronics & Robotics Laboratory
which makes user-friendly state-of-the-art control technologies.

Our laboratory is with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Chung-Ang University, Korea. The laboratory is led by Prof. Tae-Hyoung Kim and unites an enthusiastic and qualified group of graduate and undergraduate students.

The main thrust of research and development work in the Intelligent Mechatronics & Robotics Laboratory is in the interdisciplinary area of modeling/identification, control and automation of dynamic systems. Our key strengths are in the development of high-accuracy system modeling and identification techniques, user-friendly efficient control methodologies, and control-oriented meta-heuristic optimization algorithms. Application areas include dynamic systems such as mechatronic & robotic systems, automobile, UGV (unmanned ground vehicle) & UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), highly automated high-precision machine tools, and industrial manufacturing equipment.
